Fatjoe is a leading SEO and digital marketing company providing white-label link building, content, and design services to agencies worldwide.

When the team approached Updesigners in early 2025, their online presence had begun to stagnate, strong services, but visuals that no longer reflected their momentum or creativity. My role, as Lead Designer on the account, was to help revitalise the brand and bring fresh energy across their social and event communications.

The focus was on breathing new life into Fatjoe’s visual language, refining the identity to reflect its approachable, high-energy personality while remaining accessible for the marketing team to use.

This systematic approach guaranteed that the marketing team could maintain brand consistency and visual quality across all future external communications.

I also worked on refining ‘Jojo’, their Monster mascot, a key brand element that had previously been limited to a few variations and
a set of interchangeable arms that didn’t fit the overall illustration style. I have since worked on creating a library different monster options to choose from.

My responsibilities included the oversight of all event and physical collateral, correct brand application across non-digital formats. This involved a working knowledge of large-format production specifications for signage, branded merchandise, and spatial graphics. This detailed focus was essential to guaranteeing the seamless transition of the brand from digital guidelines to tangible, high-quality event activations.
